Freedom Ride Rescue has events most weekends – moving all over the Triangle! It gives us a time to showcase our adoptable dogs – while socializing them with other dogs, new people and allowing them to experience different environments.

Our events also help us raise funds for Freedom Ride Rescue. We will often have a raffle and items for sale … You may notice a lot of partnerships with breweries and bottleshops: often these venues are donating a portion of the event’s bar proceeds to us, too!

Alumni (already adopted dogs) are encouraged to bring their people to events! Nothing is better than the moment a shelter dog recognizes the foster who loved them first: the full body tail wags and bouncing exuberance is WHY we do this!

Volunteers are ALWAYS needed during events and transporting fosters to/from them!
