Laura Horian
adopter of Gemma from FRR! Laura has decades of experience on a board for a (human) rescue mission in New York and is eager to take charge of continuing to keep our rescue growing on this amazing road trip!
Courtney Davis
Representing as a FRR foster who has done young dogs, hospice cases and behavioral needs. She is the voice of our amazing volunteer fosters in making of FRR policy. She is also an avid recruiter of sponsorships to help raise money for us!
Chris Reid
Years of Basenji rescue prepped Chris to guide FRR as a board member. He is a FRR adopter and part of our core transport team! And unwittingly let us know he is a retired CPA so we’ll be leaning in on that talent. Chris’s company, Window Gang, is a regular sponsor of our rescue!!
Nancy White
Nancy’s passion for dogs has become a family tradition, and she is proud to have passed that love on to her daughters, who have fostered dogs over the years and have even happily “foster failed” several Freedom Ride dogs. As a licensed CPA, she brings a strong financial background and a commitment to responsible stewardship to her role on the board.

What We Do
Rescue Dogs
We are proud to be the crazy dog lovers who skip out on work to transport dogs from all over the state to their excited fosters’ homes … who stay up late searching shelter pages for that next “Freedom Ride” potential …. who volunteer countless hours making rescue a reality!
Provide Medical Care
Freedom Ride Rescue provides all supplies (crates, food, bowls) and gets the animal in for a vet visit (for a spay, neuter and/or vaccines); we’ll also provide flea and heartworm preventatives. Anything and everything to make a happy and healthy pet!
Find A Home
We love, rehabilitate and nurse an unwanted, unloved animal until they prance away with their fur-ever person as they start their most life’s wonderful chapter: the one as a cherished pet.
